We just got back from visiting my parents in North Carolina. We decided to take a quick trip up there since Shawn was still off from work. All the girls traveled really well and we all had a lot of fun. It was nice seeing my new nephew Nathanial, he's only 3 weeks younger than Kyla. One day we all went on a picnic to Deep Creek. It was the perfect place for the kids to play in the river. We hiked to a waterfall, more like walked, but it was pretty. All the cousins had fun playing together while we were up there. Anyway, enjoy the pics. |

Weddings, Weddings, and more Weddings..... Well, we are glad to be back home after our busy weekend. We had a wedding on Saturday and Sunday. Ashlyn was the flower girl in both, so now she thinks she's the expert. Although I do have to admit, she was a very pretty flower girl and she did very good. On Saturday Brent and Heather Mooney got married (some friends from church) and then on Sunday Shawn's sister got married to CJ. Both weddings were beautiful and fun. Since it was so close to our anniversary it was kind of fun being reminded of what it was like on our wedding day. It's been 8 years already! We weren't sure what it would be like taking 3 kids to a wedding but it wasn't too bad. Emmie and Ashlyn had fun dancing and tiring themselves out and Kyla pretty much slept through both of them. Anyway, I've posted some pictures and hopefully there will be more to come. Enjoy! |

Here are the girls and thier cars that Shawn made for them. We are having a "drive-in" movie tomorrow night at church. Everyone was encouraged to make their own cardboard boxes. So here are Ashlyn and Emmie's. I think Shawn had fun making them. I've also posted some other pictures of different things we've been doing. Shawn's been taking the girls to the pool a lot lately. Ashlyn has gotten very good at swimming. They both love having Daddy home so much (and so do I). Kyla is now 3 weeks old and doing very well. Oh yes, we have a new nephew as well. My sister had her baby today, I'll post a picture of that too. You've got to check out his hair! Anyway, hope all is well. |
