We went on a little adventure yesterday and explored some new areas that we haven't been to. We found a waterfall that wasn't too far to hike too and we had a picnic in the back of the van. We went to the Nantahala nation forest and found a place with lots of hiking trails. We went on a very short trail since it was late in the day and we had all the girls with us. We all had a lot of fun. I posted a few pictures of that plus a few of us around the house. The girls enjoyed some warm weather last week and got to play in the sprinkler with their cousins. I went to my sisters last week and spent a couple of days in Knoxville with her. It was fun, we did some shopping and just hung out. Anyway, I better go since I have a screaming baby sitting next to me that needs a nap. |

She's Crawling!!! It's official, we knew it would happen soon, Kyla is crawling. She's 9 months olds today and finally crawling. We enticed her with the remote and she crawled all the way across the living room floor. I haven't really been looking forward to it because now I know I have to keep a closer eye on her, but it is pretty exciting to see her crawling. She's waving and clapping her hands and says mama and dada. I think I feel her first tooth popping through too. Tomorrow I have her 9 month well check up with her knew doctor, so we'll see how much she has grown in the last 3 months. |

We had a little bit of snow this past weekend. We were hoping it would stay on the ground but what you see in the picture is about all we got. Other than that snow on Saturday we have been having some very nice days. The girls and I went up to the park today and went walking and had a picnic lunch with Grandma, Aunt Tiffany, Joe and Garrison. I hope we get to do it more often since it's getting nice out. Ashlyn and I have been battling some kind of stomach bug this past week and thankfully we are feeling much better now. So now it's time to get caught up on school and house work. We are taking our spring break next week, and Ashlyn is very excited about it. [more] |
