We had a camping trip in our own backyard this past weekend. It was a blast. The girls loved it. We hadn't gone camping in awhile and we didn't really have time to plan a trip so we just did it in our backyard. Complete with a fire (well sort of), making smores, a tent and yes the whole family spent the night in the tent. So I posted some pictures of that as well as some other pictures of the girls. We had a small birthday party for Ashlyn and then Ashlyn had a friend sleep over. It was her very first sleep over. It was a lot of fun. I made her a castle cake. The very first cake I've ever made and decorated. Turned out pretty good. Now I'll have to make something for Emmie's birthday..... |

We just got back from our vacation. We went to Savannah, Charleston, and Charlotte and then over to my parents home in Franklin, NC. We had so much fun and got to see so many new places. First we spent the day in Savannah and went on a Trolley Tour of the historic city. Then we went to Charleston (another very historic city) and spent a couple days there doing different things. We went to the Charlest Town landing where some of the first settlers came and lived back in the 1600's! We also went to Fort Moultrie, Folly Beach, and we saw the Morris Island Lighthouse.
