It's official we are having a baby, and just one! (For those who had their hopes on twins) We went for our first ultrasound today. Everything looks good. We could see the heart beat, but it's still to early to know if it is a boy or girl. Ashlyn went with us as well, and was quite bored and unimpressed with the ultrasound. She didn't think it looked like a baby :) but she is still excited. Emmie doesn't quite understand what is going on, but both girls seem to be getting a little jealous already! |

We had a busy day this past Saturday. I ran my first 5K, I finished in 28 minutes, which I think is pretty good for my first race. Some friends of mine have talked me into doing the Gate River Run in March, It's a very popular 15K ran here in Jacksonville. Anyway, later on that afternoon we went to the pumpkin patch with the girls and let them pick out some pumpkins. Then on Sunday Ashlyn sang at church. She did really good. Next year Emmie will be old enough to sing, that will be interesting. I'm in the midst of potty training Emmie. I will say we are making some progress. [more] |
